There’s a certain magic in motion picture film. It’s in the way it captures light with softness, the way colors feel richer yet more natural, and how shadows seem to hold onto detail instead of crushing into darkness.
This autumn, we’re proud to bring that magic into your camera with two freshly rolled emulsions made right here in Berlin:
- Fuji Eterna V160T – ISO 160
- Fuji Eterna V250T – ISO 250
📦 Now available in 35mm format at our shop and online store.
💡 Developed in ECN-2 for that cinematic finish.

✨ What is Fuji Eterna?
Originally created by Fujifilm for the motion picture industry, the Eterna series was designed to offer filmmakers a palette of soft contrast, controlled highlights, and beautiful skin tones. First introduced in the early 2000s, these films were named “Eterna” to evoke a timeless, enduring quality — and they delivered just that.
While Kodak’s Vision3 line is known for punchy saturation and warmth, Eterna is more delicate — with a muted elegance that lends itself perfectly to storytelling, portraits, fashion, and moody daylight shooting.
The vivid versions (like V160T and V250T) were developed to retain color richness, even in controlled studio lighting or tungsten-balanced environments (3200K). That means warmer shadows, cooler whites, and an all-around cinematic glow.

🎞️ Why Shoot with V160T or V250T?
These aren’t just pretty films — they offer a unique experience for analog shooters:
✅ Tungsten-Balanced (3200K): Perfect for indoor shots, low light, night scenes, and… yes, cloudy Berlin days.
✅ Low ISO = Finer Grain: Both films are smooth and sharp, making them ideal for portraits and prints.
✅ Vintage Yet Modern Look: These rolls deliver colors that feel nostalgic but not faded — think pastel reds, calm blues, gentle greens.
And here’s the kicker: they’re hand-rolled by us in the studio from genuine Fuji Eterna 35mm motion picture film.
Every cartridge is crafted with care, sealed in a reusable canister, and ready to load into your favorite camera.

🧪 Notes on Shooting & Development
- ISO: Shoot at box speed (160 or 250), or overexpose slightly for even softer shadows.
- Development: ECN-2 process (not C41!). We develop them in-house — just drop your roll at the studio or any of our drop-off points.
- Scanning: For best results, we recommend high-res TIFFs to capture the full subtlety of this emulsion.
