Originally designed for the ECN-2 process, Cinestill’s 50D has been reengineered without the remjet layer, making it safe for any standard C-41 photo lab or home processing kit. Its slight halation effect gives images a signature cinematic glow in the highlights, especially when overexposed.

It features an acetate base, DX-coded spool, and 12 exposures per roll. With unmatched latitude, it can be rated from ISO 12 to 100 without the need for push processing, offering rich, low-contrast tones when underexposed and warmer, glowing results when overexposed.

The film is optimized for hybrid workflows, making it a dream to scan with minimal digital correction needed. It also performs beautifully in optical RA-4 darkroom printing, making it a powerful tool for both analog and digital-based creators.
