The Polaroid Spectra System (including the Spectra AF variant) is part of Polaroid’s most thoughtfully designed instant camera family. These cameras use wide-format Spectra film, which offers a broader image than the classic 600 film—perfect for portraits, landscapes, and creative compositions.

Built with a quartz autofocus system, a sharp 3-element lens, and intuitive manual overrides (for exposure, flash, and focus), the Spectra System delivers clean, beautiful shots with ease. Despite its 1980s roots, it remains one of the most intelligent and capable instant cameras Polaroid ever made.

Though the Spectra series has been discontinued by Polaroid Originals, these cameras still have strong cult followings and work great with expired film or experimental stocks from third-party producers.
